Website VisitorsUSEAS uses Google Analytics to collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. USEAS’ purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how USEAS’ visitors use its website.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying InformationCertain visitors to our websites choose to interact with us in ways that require us to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that we gather depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for a fair and exhibitions to provide a username and in some cases, an email address. When filling out the contact us contact form, users are asked to provide their name, email address, telephone number and nearest office location. In each case, USEAS collects such information for the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with USEAS. We do not disclose personally-identifying information.
We use an SSL certificate to encrypt all data on our website, which means that all data sent via the submitted form is only visible to USEAS. This helps to protect online users against hackers, who try to steal users’ information.

USEAS takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
We also may be required to disclose an individual’s personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
USEAS have always and will always have adequate database backups in place, should the situation arise where data is lost of corrupt. Multiple backups are kept in a safe and secure location and only accessible by senior IT staff. The backups are only kept for a maximum of 5 weeks and are then deleted, thus adhering to Art. 17 of the GDPR (the right to be forgotten).
It is also in our interest to periodically commission a review and test our data and security technologies in the form of a Website Critical Security Analysis performed by a third-party expert. It is important to us that all websites and database systems are kept as secure as possible and prevented from DDOS attacks and SQL injections.
